From the sun terrace over hill and dale to the three-peak tour

Haslital is located between the mountain passes Brünig, Grosse Scheidegg, Susten and Grimsel. The landscape which is full of contrasts offers activities in every season.
You won’t forget the meal you had at the Alpen tower – not only because of its delicious taste, but also because of the stunning views the restaurant on the Hasliberg has to offer. The region is in particular known for the Alpenbrevet road cycling challenge. There are four courses from Bronze to Platinum which will lead cyclists either over the Gotthard or past palm trees in Ticino. If you dare, head to the Grimsel Pass and its funicular, which is the steepest in the world. In winter skiers and snowboarders are entertained on well-groomed slopes which cater for every level, from beginner to experienced. The family-friendly region also looks after its smallest winter sports enthusiasts with the “Skihäsliland”, one of the most beautiful ski areas for children in the world.

The sad end of an ingenious detective

The Reichenbachtal has been an insider tip among artists for years. Lush meadows, icy glaciers and the mountain vista served as inspiration for Caspar Wolf and Joseph Anton Koch among others. The nearby Reichenbach Falls play a particular role in literature: it is here that Sherlock Holmes died in a battle before he was brought back to life by the author due to his readers’ complaints.

Muggestutz, a fantastic entertainment for smaller children

The adventures of the eldest Hasli dwarf “Muggestutz” spread their magic not only in the famous children’s books. During the summer season, children can follow the adventures of the dwarf on the two dwarf trails. The eagle swing, a treasure hunt in caves and more child-friendly activities offer boundless fun entertainment. Real fans of the dwarf shouldn’t miss a visit to the Alpen tower restaurant in winter where a 15-m-wide scene of a Muggestutz story awaits them.
