Traditional craftsmanship meets leading-edge technology: discover the world of experiences associated with the most famous cheese in the world. And it all culminates with a tasting of original Emmentaler AOP in the maturing cellar. The Grand Cheesemakers' Brunch Buffet on Sundays and public holidays is also very popular.

Saveurs Gstaad

The "Saveurs Gstaad" serve to keep enjoyment high on the agenda throughout the year. But don't think that champagne and caviar will always prevail at the various events. Apple juice and beer with cervelat sausage certainly also have their unique charm.

Frutals Konditorei und Bäckerei, Meiringen

This really is fun: children in Meiringen will be able to bake their own meringues in the summer months from July to October. Every Wednesday morning, the bakery in Frutal's Patisserie and Bakery throws open its doors to welcome its younger visitors. The speciality of the house is available in four different flavours.

Chästeilet, Wengen

Farewell to the Alpine summer: each year, Wengen celebrates the end of the Alpine summer with a grand festival. And the traditional "Chäseilet" is at the heart of the festivities. Sample the various Alpine products, buy a cow share or simply come to enjoy the music.

Restaurant Tropengarten im Tropenhaus Frutigen

Sturgeon and caviar take culinary pride of place here: the menu selections in the Tropengarten Restaurant in Frutigen have been inspired by its own caviar and fish farming. As you would expect, the fruits and spices from the tropical greenhouse are also put to good use in the dishes. It's where you will dine under banana plants and papaya trees.

It's extremely practical: simply collect your fondue backpack from the Amstutz dairy in Sigriswil. Inside, you'll find a fondue pot, a gel burner with wind guard, lighter, stirring ladle, forks, bread and cheese. Now simply set off on walk with the backpack and seek out your favourite spot in mother nature. Fondues enjoyed in the great outdoors taste even better!

A perfect opportunity to see how the locals like to spend their Saturday mornings. The Nourritour through Biel’s old town consists of seven stop-off points for tasting regional products. The tour certainly has lots of nice surprises in store, with some dishes French in style, others German, some sweet, and some savoury.
