Lake cruises

If you like being on water, the Region of Bern is the place to be. The different cruises transform the lakes of the region into fascinating attractions.

At Lake Thun there is plenty to discover on water and on shore. Romantics can enjoy the gentle rocking motion of the waves during a sunset tour. For an environmentally friendly experience, climb aboard the solar boat shuttle. The solar powered catamaran runs between the town centre of Thun and the parks along Lake Thun throughout the summer season.

Once back on dry land, five castles and their elaborate parks offer a glimpse into the lives of past aristocrats. Adventurers can go exploring in the St. Beatus caves.

Lake Brienz does not only enthral visitors with its emerald green colour, but it is also a regular location for culinary highlights.
