Tasty fondue with a view
It’s not just the view of Langnau and the Bernese Alps that attracts one to the heated, transparent bubble tent on the Moosegg. From 29 November 2018 until 2 February 2019 you can also enjoy a creamy cheese or spicy meat fondue on request, for lunch and dinner, as well as for groups with prior reservation.
Cadillac, Petticoat and Rock’a’Billy
Instead of a two-piece business suit, it is the petticoat that is compulsory here. From November 2018 to February 2019, the rockabilly quiff will be regarded as the ultimate in hair style, and the hip swing as the new "move" at UPtown on the Gurten above Bern. With a wonderfully nostalgic flair and legendary music, the 1950s will be celebrated as if they had never ended.
Peak of dining pleasure
From December 2018 at the Le Grand Bellevue in Gstaad, Marcus G. Lindner, the renowned Guide Michelin star chef, will take his guests on a delicious culinary journey. As the new chef at LEONARD's, the award-winning Austrian combines refined ingredients into extremely sensual crea-tions of his own.
Clear views of the mountains
In winter 2018/19, the newly opened Saanenmöser-Saanersloch gondola lift from Gstaad will be featuring a world premiere: the glass roof construction affords clear views of the mountains during the very comfortable journey. And with the generous amount of space and the ground level cabin entry, the ride up the mountain is the perfect start to a great day on the snow.
Shaken but not disturbed
It’s not just the "007 Walk of Fame" on that legendary James Bond movie highlight, the Schilthorn - Piz Gloria, that guarantees thrills and a spectacular experience. The same is true of the daredevil action by the Audi ski-cross tour riders too. Now that the 1,200-meter-long ski-cross slope from Mürren has been permanently installed, it will always be a fun place to visit.
Kunstmuseum Thun acoustic walk
The Kunstmuseum Thun emits new sounds this anniversary year. The internationally known artist and musician Julian Sartorius has created an acoustic city tour especially for visitors. Along a trail in the heart of Thun, you can both hear and experience special sounds and attractions at ten different locations.
Ski slope all to yourself
Imagine having a ski slope all to yourself and being able to go down it on skis, a snowboard, a fat-bike or a sled-like "piste-goat". What sounds like a mere pipe dream is now possible on the Jaun Pass. With the Rent the Lift facility, groups may exclusively hire the slope and the Zügwegen ski lift for two hours from 4.30 pm and use it just as they wish.
Ski Pass for the 4 biggest ski resorts
The four largest ski areas in Bern offer 666 kilometers of piste for the unbeatable price of just 666 Swiss francs. All winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy this advance sale price from 1 September to 16 December. As soon as the snow starts falling, the Adelboden-Lenk, Gstaad, Jungfrau Ski Region and Meiringen-Hasliberg resorts will start operating their lifts and cable cars.
