Thun Castle sits majestically enthroned on the castle rock above the city. The views of the foothills of the Alps, the old town centre and the lake are as magnificent as the choice of amenities. The Donjon has been a museum since 1888 and includes a medieval knights’ hall. Since 2014, the castle has also been home to a boutique hotel with a restaurant, a large plenary hall, and a historic hall. What makes it special: the 14 double rooms are located in the former prison wing overlooking the castle courtyard.
