The days are short and the hours of sunshine are few – all the more important to recharge your batteries during the winter months. How about an evening excursion to the Althaus? Just 15 kilometres from Bern you'll find a rural idyll, with unencumbered views of the sunset and the starry night sky.
The hosts will heat up the hot tub for you and provide a sufficient supply of wood, so you can determine your own ideal bathing temperature and duration. Soup, cheese and home-made bread will be available in the lovingly arranged conservatory (or in the kitchen if the weather is bad) whenever you fancy it.
